Hi! I'm Maya Alger, a 4th-year geropsychology undergraduate student at Washington State University hoping to fundraise for my study abroad trip surrounding community health and aging (already committed). This trip will allow me to expand my cultural competency in relation to how other societies treat aging and older adults, along with learning skills like medicinal herb identification. My ultimate goal is to become a geropsychologist, build a certified residential facility, and offer affordable housing and holistic care to older adults in hospice with memory care needs.

I am doing community outreach to help fund this experience, as the cost has risen and I am in need of financial aid (which is not covered by FAFSA or most scholarships). Anything helps!
