Maya is someone who has the biggest heart and the kindest soul.

She’s one of those rare people who always thinks of others first. She’s the kind of person who will give away her last bit of food to someone who needs it more, who checks on her neighbors before herself, and who never hesitates to help — even when she doesn’t have much to give.

Now, she’s the one who needs our help.

The storm has left her surrounded by devastation — homes destroyed, roads blocked, power lines down, and limited access to food, clean water, and medical care. She’s doing her best to stay strong, but the situation is terrifying and uncertain.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help her get emergency supplies, make repairs to her home and her business place which have been damaged, get food and safe drinking water, also replace items which have been damaged in the flooding. Every single donation — no matter the amount — will go directly toward helping her get through this nightmare and begin to rebuild.
