Maya's Journey to Fight Cancer

Maya has recently been diagnosed with a rare inflammatory stage 3 breast cancer. She has been such a positive person for so many of us and now it's time for us to show her how much we appreciate and support her during this time. We are raising funds so she can focus on her battle with cancer and help alleviate financial stress in her journey. Any donation amount would mean so much to her.

"Hello, my name is Cody Westbrook, and I am very grateful that you took a moment to read my story. My beloved wife Maya Apodaca and I are both dance teachers at Studio 22 in Dallas. We've been together for nearly 20 years, and dancing professionally together just as long. She was very recently diagnosed with a rare inflammatory stage 3 breast cancer, so we are trying to take all of the appropriate steps as quickly as we can to get her healthy and cancer-free. Obviously, with the variety of tests and medical treatments she now finds herself having to go through, there also comes a tidal wave of medical bills. Maya is such a bright shining star in my life, a beautiful soul, and she brings joy to everyone that is lucky enough to meet her.
