Support Maya's Final Days with Love

Hi, my name is Monica. I’m making this GoFundMe page for my sister Celina to help get donations for this beautiful girl Maya for her vet bills, care, euthanasia, and cremation. My sister Celina rescued this dog from a horrific situation a few weeks ago. She has been severely neglected most of her life. This whole situation has been truly heartbreaking to witness. My sister is an animal advocate and lover, as am I. Maya was in a kennel in a backyard most of her life and forgotten about. Never any human love or care, no basic dog necessities whatsoever. She lived out in the freezing cold and hot summer days with no shelter or comfort. She is the sweetest girl; she’s a fighter and a protector. She’s been the light in our life for the few weeks we have had her. She has grown such a close and special bond with my sister. We’ve been giving her so much love, care, and spoiling and showing her how a dog is supposed to be treated. Maya is 14 years old; she’s a Doberman, and she has stage 4 mammary adenocarcinoma (breast cancer) with so many other medical conditions and complications. Her condition is very severe. My sister has done everything she can for her, taking her to the vet for her care, which has been very costly. The vet has recommended euthanizing her, as there’s nothing more we can do; her cancer has spread throughout her body. We just want her to be comfortable for the time she has left with us with no pain or suffering. Anything would be greatly appreciated, even if you can take the time to read and share this.
