Support Maya's Emergency Vet Care

hi all,

i know that there are a lot of things going on in the world right now that takes precedence, but i thought that i'd reach out for help in paying for my pup's vet bills.

maya is a 5 yr old rescue with seizures. though her seizures have been well-managed on medication, as she ages, she's had a few breakthrough seizures. she had a pretty significant episode today, 7/13 despite receiving her routine medication. i've had to rush her to the emergency vet since this episode has been her worst yet and did not stop with routine medication like her others - her hospitalization is costing quite significantly. since she had seizures before she was adopted, even if i had pet insurance, her care would not be covered.

maya is my best friend. she's helped me in more than a thousand ways especially since i got her in college. while i'm just glad she's okay, i can't deny that this is a huge cost to front especially as i have not started my job yet. the funds will go straight to her bill for care and first doses of new medication.
