Hello, I’ve created this GoFundMe to help cover Max’s vet bills and medications.

UPDATE: Max was taken to the vet on Jan 15 thanks to donations. They found that he has either kyphosis or lordosis which is a curve in his spine. It put pressure on his legs and damaged the nerves making it difficult for him to walk. The vet said with a wheelchair, pain meds and some physical therapy, he should live another 2 years and gain his spirits back. I’m keeping this open for now because wheelchairs for dogs his size are around $600 and I will work extra to get him a wheelchair, but having one sooner than later would be best for him. If there’s any extra money after that I’d use it to get him a ramp or a wheelchair so he can walk easier. Since it is just after the holidays I understand that times are tough and I appreciate anything that is donated no matter how small it is. It is going toward a great dog who has so much love and light in his eyes. He just wants to go back to the way things were. I can tell he just wants to be able to walk and to play comfortably again. And anything raised will be a blessing!

Max is my beloved family dog whom we’ve had since the day he was born. He was born from our mama pit in 2018 with his brother Ollie. They’ve had a great life of fun and adventures and have had 2 other brothers along the way. Over this last year (2025) Max has developed mobility problems that are effecting his way of life. His legs give out when he stands too long, he has a very hard time squatting to potty, he wobbles when he walks, but these are things I believe can be treated if he has the ability to receive treatment. He is a strong and happy dog who went from being active all the time to someone who seems depressed because he can’t run around or play anymore.
