Max’s Mass Removal Surgery

Hi everyone! I’m Alexa & I’m starting this GoFundMe for my dog Max.

Max is my 11-year-old childhood dog. My family adopted him when he was around 6 months old. Unfortunately, Max had been abused by his previous owners & had become extremely timid & frightened of the world as a result. After bringing him home & allowing him to become comfortable in the space, I was the first person Max bonded with.

Max has been living with me in San Diego since August of 2024, and he has been the happiest I’ve ever seen him. He has always been right by my side since we’ve had him and living with me in his older years has made him so happy. Until late last year, when a previous injury on his lip developed into a mass that continued to grow and spread across his whole mouth. It has gotten to a point where Max is unable to enjoy life without some form of discomfort and pain, going to the extent of trying to remove his masses with his own paws.

Luckily, we were recommended to an amazing veterinarian who is able to perform a removal surgery and save Max’s lip from reconstructive surgery. But the cost is extremely out of my budget & I am unable to afford it. Any help would be appreciated, you’d be helping give Max another shot at a healthy life! Thank you in advance!
