Support Max's Mobility with a New Wheelchair

Story

Hello, I am trying to raise funds for a wheelchair for my German Shepherd named Max. I've had Max since he was 10 weeks old. He's now just over 9 years old and unfortunately he's been diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy. He is also been diagnosed with stenosis and spondylosis (both are spinal conditions that affect his mobility). The problem first arose in December 2024 after he had just gotten over a serious case of German Shepherd Dog Pyoderma. It's a skin infection that is fairly common in German Shepherds. Max started to knuckle his right hind paw and would leave a trail of blood due to the nails grinding against the pavement. Over the first few months of 2025, studies were done but it wasn't until he had the MRI that it revealed the true issue he was facing. He has been seen by his primary veterinarian as well as various other vets in addition to the local neurologist in town. All are in agreement that given Max's age, surgery would be extremely complicated and so would the post-surgery rehabilitation process. The decision was made that surgery would not be an option. My mission since then has been to give Max the best possible life he can have. I've made many accommodations at home but now I've reached the point where a wheelchair is inevitable. His mobility has severely changed over the last seven months. With all of his vet and specialist visits, these costs add up. I've spent over $3k this year alone on just Max. This doesn't include the costs of my three other dogs. I am asking for the kindness of others so I can purchase the much needed wheelchair. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time in reading Max's story.

Hello,

I am trying to raise funds for a wheelchair for my German Shepherd named Max.
