Help Support Max’s Second Fight Against Ewing Sarcoma

Hey everyone! Jay here, as some of you may know, 2.5 years ago, our world got turned upside down. September 24th 2023, the day we found out Max, our sweetest little girl , had a large cancerous tumor overtaking her ribs, and left chest wall. Later confirmed to be Ewing Sarcoma, a rare, aggressive bone / soft tissue cancer. She received an absurd amount of chemo, radiation, surgery, all followed up with more radiation. She absolutely kicked a** the whole time! She had clean follow up scans, month after month. However , 18 months after finishing treatment , a couple spots popped up on her scans. Once again our world was turned upside down. There is a nodule on her lung, and a couple small spots in the surgical area. We almost immediately started back up with treatment. This time we’re hoping to get 4 - 6 rounds of high dose chemo in, followed by radiation, surgery, or both. So far we 2 rounds in! It’s been a rocky start , but we’re confident we’re getting treatments figured out, making her as comfortable as possible during our stays. Her treatment plan, calls for us to be in the hospital, for 6 nights , and leave on the 7th morning, with weekly labs, and a unknown schedule for possible daily radiation. We currently split the stays with Maxs mom as evenly as possible, to try and keep some sort of normalcy for our lives, and homes. Max typically likes having her mom overnight , and Jenna and I during the days. Which obviously destroys our availability being able to work, especially with me in the shop.

Last treatment, was hard mentally , physically, and financially , while being the hardest times of our life, it was even harder to ask for help, which eventually we had to. Everyone single cent that was donated last time took a great weight off our backs, and we are forever grateful. Unfortunately here we are again. Needing our amazing communities help.

As many of you know, being self employed can be extremely hard, and it’s even harder when you physically can’t be working your business, due to being somewhere else. After the financial hole we got into last time, and knowing how hard it was to recover, this time we’re going to try, and get a head. Unfortunately everything cost money, and even just a few days up here a week adds up quickly. Especially after missing out on work those same days.

Anything we receive will go directly to gas, food, parking, crafts, and things to make Max happy. It will also help take a financial load off having to miss out on so much work. We can’t thank you all enough for every single penny that comes our way. It means the absolute world to us, and takes away some of the insane stress we are currently under.
