Support Max’s Cancer Fight

I’ve known Max for about 15 years. He’s been a steady part of my life through a lot of different seasons, and through it all, I’ve always known him as someone with a lot of heart and a lot of fight. The kind of person who keeps going, no matter what’s in front of him.

Right now, he is facing one of the hardest battles of his life.

Max has been diagnosed with cancer that has spread to his abdomen and has begun an aggressive chemotherapy regimen (EP: etoposide and cisplatin). His treatment plan includes multiple cycles, with one full week of daily treatments followed by weeks of recovery in between. It is physically demanding, emotionally exhausting, and completely life-altering. And the truth is, the future and what comes next is still very uncertain.

Max has lived with cerebral palsy since birth, and his life has never been easy. As a newborn, he underwent open heart surgery, and throughout his childhood, he faced many other surgeries and challenges. But if you know Max, you know that’s never been what defines him. He has always met adversity with strength, humor, and a determination to keep moving forward.

That same strength is what he is carrying into this fight now. But cancer doesn’t just affect the body—it touches every part of life. The weight of the unknown, the constant appointments, the physical toll of treatment, and the financial strain all add up quickly. It’s overwhelming, and it’s not something anyone should have to carry on their own.

This fundraiser is to help support Max and ease that burden so he and his family can focus fully on what matters most right now—his treatment, his comfort, and his recovery.

Every donation truly helps, no matter the size. And if you’re not able to give, sharing this or keeping Max in your prayers still means more than you know.

Max is in the middle of a very real fight—but he is not walking it alone.

Thank you for standing with him, supporting him, and lifting him up during this time.
