Support Max's Battle Against Osteosarcoma

For almost 6 years now, Max has been in a fight for his life against osteosarcoma (bone cancer). Having been best friends and bandmates with him since we met in middle school, we've seen firsthand how insanely difficult the past several years have been for him and his family. We are now writing to ask for your help.

In summer of 2018, we had all just graduated college and were ready to go full-time with the band. Then out of nowhere, Max received his initial diagnosis of osteosarcoma and it halted everything. He immediately began chemo, had a full knee replacement and half of his femur replaced, and had to learn how to walk all over again. After moving to LA in 2019 following that treatment, the cancer came back in his lungs in 2020. Since then, Max has been going through lung surgeries and chemo regimens, all the while continuing to do what he loves by writing and performing music. Now, new scans show the cancer has come back again and Max is in the middle of more chemotherapy & surgeries to get back to full health again.

Through all of the never-ending medical bills & travel expenses, Max and his family have somehow managed to stay afloat, but as treatment ramps up again it is more expensive than ever, and now more than ever before they need our help. We are making this GoFundMe to ask for any financial aid you are able to provide at this time so that we can try to relieve some of this financial burden from Max and the entire Reichert family. All donated money will go directly to Max and his family and will help them pay the bills from treatments and incurred travel expenses. The last thing we want them worrying about is the financial impact of all of this, as Max and his family focus their energy on being together and getting him healthy.
