Max is a 5th grader at Shaler Elementary, a proud big brother, and a familiar face to so many in the community through Bauerstown baseball and Shaler Little Titans football. Right now, Max and his family are facing an incredibly difficult time as Max remains sedated in the ICU at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. Max was diagnosed with Meckel's diverticulum, which led to emergency surgery, and he will need another surgery later this week. While everyone is focused on hoping and praying for Max’s recovery, the family is also carrying the very real stress that comes with long days at the hospital and time away from work. Max’s mom, Debbie, will be out of work while staying by Max’s side during his hospitalization and recovery.

This fundraiser is to help Max and his family with bills and the many costs that come with going back and forth to the hospital during this time.
