Support Maverick's Basic Training to Find His Forever Home

Hello! My name is Haley Bruinwood and my husband and I are the foster parents of Maverick, a 60lbs pitty mix.

TLDR: We are looking for fundraising to help Maverick continue to get the training potential adopters are looking for in a pup like Maverick.

We have been fostering Maverick from Miracle Lane Farm & Sanctuary since Fall 2024. He was in kennels at Miracle for about a year before coming home to us. At just over two years old, being in the kennel so much took a toll. It took time for him to find a new routine, but our rescue Bella, taught him the ropes.

Unfortunately this little nugget has a lot of energy and no longer remembers his basic training. He has strong legs even for his small stature and he loves to pull while on leash. This makes going on walks difficult and has deterred potential adopters.

As two full time working foster parents we realized that we needed extra help with him. We started working with a wonderful trainer, Carrie, from North River Pack.

Carrie is doing an amazing job with Maverick and we would love to continue these training sessions so he can be the pup he wants to be and find that perfect forever home! This is where you come in!
