Support Maverick's Recovery Journey #MavStrong

Hi! My name is Alex Williams and a good friend to Trinity and Travis Dowling. My daughters are also best of friends with their children.

Over the last year, Maverick (5), the Dowlings youngest son was diagnosed with Hirschsprung's Disease which means part of his colon isn’t active.

In May, Maverick had surgery to remove part of his colon which required him to have a temporary colostomy bag (6-8 months).

Last week, Maverick went back to KC for his pull through surgery and ostomy closure. Surgery went great, but recovery has become complicated as his bowels are not waking up as fast as the doctors would like.

Sadly, they are having to spend another week in KC due to an emergency surgery today, which is an unexpected expense while they're trying to navigate their other 4 children back at home in Omaha. This is a hard time for this amazing family, but we know that God will heal and protect him. If you feel lead to donate, please do so. Otherwise, all the thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.
