Support Maverick's Fight Against Leukemia

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out to you on behalf of our dear friends Nick, Katrina, and their beautiful 6-year-old son, Maverick.

On Friday night, September 13th, their world was turned completely upside-down. After rushing to the emergency room, it was soon determined that Mav unfortunately was diagnosed with T-ALL (T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). His WBC (White Blood Count) reached over 650,000.

Maverick is remarkably in great spirits, despite the extensive tests and treatment he has started.

Not only do Nick and Katrina have to care for their son through cancer treatment, but they also have to care for their 2-year-old son, Ryker.

Nick and Katrina are those one-of-a-kind friends that we are lucky to have. They go above and beyond for those that they love and care about and would do more than just give the shirt off their backs. They are not ones to ever ask for help. Sadly, this will be a life-changing moment and they need all of the assistance they can get.

I am hoping that during this time, friends, family, and our community can help lift them up and care for them as any money that is donated would be assisting with childcare for their youngest, along with food, transport, and necessary bills.

This is a terrifying ordeal absolutely no parent would ever want to face. It is truly a parent’s worst nightmare. Please, if you’re able, help ease their financial strain during this truly devastating time.
