Hello Everyone,

My name is Maverick, and I am a loving and sweet boy who enjoys running around in my yard, playing with my sister, and giving my parents all the affection I can.

On the morning of February 15th, two dogs got into my yard and attacked me while I was protecting my sister. Thankfully, Sissy doesn't have a scratch on her, which means I did my job well.

I was hospitalized for two days due to muscle damage and lacerations all over my body. My health started to decline, but I'm a fighter. The road to recovery is going to be long, but mom and dad are doing everything they can to keep me comfortable and safe.

I will need to see my vet at least twice a week to treat my wounds and monitor my health so I can get back to being myself again.
