Hello, my name is Mauro Bernal and I’m a 37-year-old automotive technician who has always taken pride in working hard to provide for my family. I’m a husband to an amazing wife and a father to four beautiful children—three boys and one girl—who mean everything to me.


Recently, I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis in both my cervical and lumbar spine, along with two herniated discs. This condition has made it extremely painful to work, and because my job is very physical, I had no choice but to undergo serious spinal surgery. My recovery could take up to six months, and during this time, I will be unable to return to work, which means losing my income during this time. I am asking for help to cover medical bills and living expenses for my family while I recover.
