Maurita is truly one of a kind. She radiates joy and love in everything she does—whether it’s celebrating her Puerto Rican heritage, rescuing animals, or rocking her favorite pair of heels. But what shines most is her devotion to the people in her life. She is a proud wife, mom, and grandma, a loyal friend, and a woman of deep faith. For years, she has poured her heart into her family, her friendships, her fitness journey, and her real estate clients with a passion that inspires everyone who knows her.

Sadly, 2025 has brought challenges Maurita never imagined facing. What began as unexplained struggles—losing the ability to walk and drive—has led to a devastating diagnosis: ALS. This cruel disease has taken away her independence, forcing her to rely on friends and family for even the simplest daily tasks—something that has been especially hard for someone as vibrant and active as Maurita.

Because of this, we are rallying together to support her. Without her knowledge, we’ve created this page to help fund a bathroom renovation that will allow Maurita safe and comfortable access in her own home. This change would be life-changing for her daily care and dignity. Any additional funds raised will go toward other accessibility needs or medical equipment to ease the burden of this heartbreaking journey.
