Hello my name is Maurice I'm 56 years old thank you for taking the time to read my story. My life took a turn 4 moths ago when I suffered 1 stroke do to my high blood pressure. I was at work and thank God my boss was there and called the ambulance I was taken to the hospital and I was told I had a stroke and bleed in my brain. Plus they find out I also have Atrial fibrillation abnormal heart beat plus my kidney function it's only 48% at my age its supposed to be 80%.

The stroke affected my speech, my walking ability and movement in my right side. Little by little, I regained my ability to walk with physical therapy the stroke happened in the left side of my brain affecting my right side. However the biggest drawback is it affected my ability to think clearly, to write to read. Thank God I'm alive and going for physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy and I have seen some progress, but I'm still havr a long way to a full recovery. This unexpected situation has come to change my life completely I am unable to work, the ability to be completely independent.

This also taken a toll on my finances I'm in the need for help with immediate expenses like rent, food I also have 2 kids that I can't even help them to get a haircut or something.
