The Story

On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, leaving unimaginable destruction in its wake. Among the hardest hit was Maurice Goslin a hardworking young man from Lucea, Hanover, whose modest seaside home was completely destroyed in the storm.

In just a few terrifying hours, the winds ripped off his roof, and tore his walls apart. He has lost nearly all of his belongings. What used to be a place of peace and pride is now only rubble and memories.

Why We’re Raising Funds

We’re raising US $35,000 to help Maurice rebuild his home and restore stability to his life. Funds will go toward:

• Basic building materials (cement, lumber, zinc roofing, blocks)

• ️ Essential furniture and household items

• Reconnecting utilities and making the space safe again

• Temporary accommodation until rebuilding begins

Every contribution — no matter how small — brings him closer to having a safe roof over his head again.
