Support Maureen's Journey Home

Hello! My name is Adam Yarnevich. As some of you may know, Johndale, a designer on my team, recently lost his battle with cancer.

Here's a little backstory: Johndale had been with us for about 18 months before his diagnosis. For roughly the last 15 months, he was on medical leave fighting his condition. Our ultimate hope was for his treatment to be successful so he could return to work with us. Sadly, that did not happen.

Johndale and his wife, Maureen, are both natives of the Philippines. Maureen, a nurse, came to America a few years ago, with Johndale following a few months later. They built their life here together, while most of their family and friends remained back home across the Pacific.

Maureen has informed me that they will be holding a small service here in Kansas City on Saturday, April 5th, after which she will fly home to the Philippines for a larger service with family and friends.

She plans to return to the U.S. to resume her work, and I thought it would be meaningful if we could help ease her financial burden during this difficult time. As we all know, international travel isn't cheap.
