My sister-in-law Maureen is one of the most selfless people I know. When my kidneys failed, she stepped forward and donated her own kidney to save my life. Incredibly, Maureen’s kidney was a perfect match for me—just like a real sister. Now, Maureen is facing her own health battle—she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is unable to work. She and her husband, my brother, have always lived modestly, and this diagnosis has brought new financial challenges. On top of everything, Maureen was caring for her grandchildren five days a week, showing her endless love and dedication to her family.

The funds raised will go directly towards helping Maureen and her family with bills, quality food and supplements, and travel expenses related to her treatment. With her inability to work and the added responsibilities at home, every bit of support will make a meaningful difference in their lives. Maureen has always put others first, and now she needs our help more than ever.
