Hello! I am raising money on behalf of my friend from Ukraine and her son who was diagnosed with a fatal disease, Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

"Our son needs your help! Matvii is 2 years old, and at just 1 year and 2 months, he was diagnosed with a fatal disease—Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Unfortunately, people with this diagnosis are doomed to an early death. Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a genetic disorder characterized by the rapid progression of muscle degeneration, leading to a complete loss of mobility and, ultimately, death.

Not long ago, a treatment emerged that could save our son’s life. We have found a clinic in Dubai that offers Elevidys gene therapy, but the cost is astronomical—$2,901,907 (nearly 3 million dollars).

We have launched a fundraising campaign for Matvii’s treatment and are asking for help from all kind-hearted people. Please help us save our son!"
