Support Matt's Therapy and Medical Appointments

Hi, my name is Abbie.

I'm setting up a go fund me account for my husband, Matt. He was an active duty Marine for 5 years. In that time he hurt his back, shoulder and knee. He also has a lot of mental stuff going on as well. People have reached out on our TikTok and asked us to make this to help us. The funds we get will be going to outside care. He has been going to an amazing therapist we paid out of pocket for when he was able to work. He usually will go 1-2 times a week for mental health and PTSD. As he does have healthcare through the VA. They haven't documented ANY medical appointments, calls, videos or prescriptions in the last 2-3 months. Because of this we are forced to start over on his appointments since they weren't documented. Not sure how that's legal...

As we don't have funds for a lawyer at the moment--

Our main focus is him being able to keep going to therapy while being a part time stay at home Dad. Our youngest daughter of 3 kids has lung issues which caused us pulling them from daycare. We've been dealing with a lot Matt losing 2 jobs between his disabilities and our youngest in and out of Children's hospital from being admitted a lot.

To add- If we get donated a lot more than our goal, Matt wants to create an event for veterans and pay for them to come. A weekend get together, mingle, exchange contact info and to keep in touch. Veteran and active service member suicide is no joke. It's very hard thing to go through and friends, brothers/sisters in arms dealing with a loss themselves. We need to be each others family and backbone to help ease some of the pain. Physically and mentally. You are NOT alone!

If you can give anything to help us keep Matt's appointments to help him, we would be forever grateful. Also, it'll help us document all evidence to be able to apply for VA disability rating and even getting a lawyer for everything the VA wasn't doing.
