Matt is my close family member and an avid runner who has won numerous races on the Massultra circuit. Early Tuesday morning in Springfield, Matt was struck by a hit and run driver while running. The police haven’t found the person responsible yet, Matt suffered a severe concussion, contusions and abrasions. While recovering Matt has missed some work and his insurance won’t cover all of his medical expenses.

Matt’s passion for running is a big part of his life—he lives to run every day and finds his peace in endurance events.
