Matt dedicated over 30 years of his life to helping others achieve their fitness goals, specializing in creating age-appropriate programs that combined cardiovascular, strength, balance, and flexibility training. His passion for fitness stemmed from his love of sports and martial arts, which shaped his unique approach to health and wellness.

Matt’s journey in the fitness world began as a gym partner in Akron, Ohio, and was enriched by his service in the US Special Forces. His commitment to his clients was unparalleled, and he was especially passionate about working with cancer survivors and seniors. He held specialized training in functional movement screening and was a certified specialist in cancer recovery and senior exercise. Matt believed in not just training the body, but also in educating his clients to foster positive behavioral changes and lifelong healthy habits.

Beyond the gym, Matt’s love for life took him to the beach, his favorite place in Costa Rica, and on scuba diving adventures around the world. His adventurous spirit and dedication to helping others made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

In honor of Matt’s memory and the incredible work he did, we have established this GoFundMe campaign. The funds raised will be used to provide access to our specialized exercise program for cancer patients who cannot afford it. This cause was close to Matt’s heart, and we believe it is the best way to continue his legacy of care and compassion.
