Hi! My name is Matt, and I breed Lady Gouldian Finches in Tucson, AZ. In the 3 years I've been raising these amazing birds I've successfully hatched out over 200 beautiful birds. This year, I'm going to the National Bird Show in Knoxville, TN on November 20-22 to compete for the first time!

The National Bird Show started in 1948 and attracts hundreds of exhibitors with about 2,000 birds each year. There are dozens of awards given, and there are 17 (!) categories alone for Lady Gouldian Finches.

I'll be driving from Arizona to Tennessee over 2 days before I arrive in Knoxville for the competition. Along the way I'll be documenting my journey as well as my birds' reactions to their first big trip.

I have 5 birds that I think are competition worthy, and I hope you'll help me get them across the country!
