Hello there, Matt Brandal here.

I have always been up and happy and have tried to make those around me happy, too, but over the past few years, things have been rough for health reasons and being up and happy.

I lost my left leg to diabetes and bad blood circulation, and they had to amputate below the knee. I am in a wheelchair most of the time.

Kidney disease has progressed to needing dialysis Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the rest of my life.

I am currently living at New London Specialty Care (who are great, by the way), and I goof on my computer and watch movie channels like Hulu, Disney, HBO, and such.

I do get disability, which is $50 a month, and that goes to my cellphone, which I need.

I just can’t keep up with things like the movie channels I love, some snacks, and such.

I have always been someone who doesn’t ask for help, but it’s come time that I need to.
