Help My Brother Matt Fight His Biggest Battle Yet
Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m reaching out with the heaviest heart I’ve ever carried. My brother, Matt, is not just my brother; he’s my hero. A proud U.S. Marine who served our country for 4 years, Matt has always been the strongest, most selfless person I know. He’s the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need because that’s just who he is.
But now, Matt is facing a battle no one should ever have to fight and this time, he needs our help.
Just recently, Matt was diagnosed with a massive brain tumor. It was sudden, shocking, and life-altering. He had to undergo emergency brain surgery to remove most of it, and while the operation was successful, the journey ahead is long, painful, and full of uncertainty.
Matt isn’t just a veteran. He’s a father, a loving, hands-on dad who lights up around his children. His whole world revolves around being there for them, and this diagnosis has shaken all of us to the core. Watching someone who’s always been your rock—a Marine, a dad, a brother—suddenly become so vulnerable is something you never forget.
Now that the surgery is behind him, Matt is beginning the uphill climb through recovery. He’ll need ongoing care, rehabilitation, medication, and time away from work just to get back on his feet. As you can imagine, the medical bills are already stacking up, and there’s still a long road ahead.
That’s why I’m asking humbly, and from the bottom of my heart, for your support.
This fundraiser will help cover:
• Medical and hospital expenses
• Post-surgery rehabilitation and therapy
• Medication
• Living costs while Matt is unable to work
• Support for his children during this difficult time.
Matt has always taken care of others. Now it’s our turn to take care of him.
If you can find it in your heart to donate even just a few dollars, it would mean more than I can ever express. Every bit helps. And if you can’t give right now, please consider sharing this with your friends and family. That alone can make a world of difference.
Please help us remind Matt that he’s not in this alone. Let’s come together to lift up a father, a Marine, and a man who has given so much of himself to others.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.
With love and gratitude,
