My life changed overnight when I broke my leg three months ago. Before my injury, I was always on the move—hiking, skateboarding, rollerblading, and exploring the mountains. I thrived on adventure and physical activity, but now I find myself trapped inside, unable to do even the simplest tasks without help. The pain is constant, and the isolation has taken a toll on my mental health. I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help, but I’ve exhausted my savings and all other options for support.

Every day is a struggle to get the supplies and care I need. Getting to and from medical appointments is a challenge because my family members are either working or also unable to help due to their own disabilities. I worry about falling deeper into debt, and the stress of not being able to pay rent or buy food for my family is overwhelming. I’ve always been independent, but this injury has left me feeling vulnerable and anxious about the future.

I’m reaching out for help to cover the most urgent needs: keeping a roof over our heads and making sure there’s food on the table.
