Support Matt's Critical Recovery Journey

Hello everyone!

My name is Genna Luke, as some of you may know.. my brother-in-law, Matt Williams, was in a car accident last Saturday and could use all the love, support, and help he possibly can during this extremely difficult, overwhelming time.

Matt is currently fighting for his life in ICU in critical condition.

He has been placed in a medically induced coma this past week due to severe trauma to the head from the accident, which warranted an emergency bilateral craniotomy (brain surgery involving removal of both sides of the skull) as a result of a brain bleed causing excess pressure/fluid build up on his brain. We currently aren’t sure how long this will be the case, but we will post updates as soon as we can.

First and foremost, I’m asking that each and every one of you reading this post.. pray for Matt, pray that he builds the strength to pull through this so he can continue living and loving life to it’s fullest.

I’m asking that you please pray for my sister as she navigates through these extremely tough, heart wrenching emotions and feelings of helplessness, fear, and sadness.

I also ask that you pray for their kiddos, who don’t entirely understand what is happening in their lives right now.❤️‍

Matt has a long journey ahead of him. All we know is that his brain activity has been normal thus far. We still aren’t sure exactly what his prognosis is, time of recovery, etc… all we know is he has a long journey ahead of him and will need extensive inpatient therapy post recovery.

I am hoping this page can at least provide even the tiniest bit of financial relief to ensure that my sister can stay by his side during his recovery, and not have to worry about the financial burdens of the normal day to day expenses in addition to all of these unimaginable feelings that they are all experiencing at this time.

Every little bit helps. Even if you can’t donate, please, please, PLEASE.. say a little prayer for them.. keep them in your thoughts and most importantly, PLEEEASE (in the upmost respectful way possible) be mindful that questions are hard to answer when we are still in such uncertainty of his recovery status at this time.
