Matt was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. He is currently undergoing immunotherapy treatment. After his treatment is completed, he will be going to the University of Michigan Hospital for chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, and a bone marrow transplant.

Anyone who has been blessed to cross paths with Matt can attest to the fact he is the most kind, caring person who would be the first to help out someone in need with a smile on his face.
