Just days ago, Matt was enjoying life — watching his kids play soccer and baseball, spending time with his wife Ann, and sharing a casual (but competitive) round of golf with friends. Life felt normal. But everything changed in an instant.
On June 4th, doctors discovered a mass on Matt’s brain. He was soon diagnosed with glioblastoma — an aggressive and devastating form of brain cancer (Grade IV). He has already undergone surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible. Beginning Monday, July 7th, Matt will start an eight-week clinical trial at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, which includes an intensive combination of radiation and chemotherapy.
Matt is a devoted husband to Ann and a proud father to Presley and Mikayla. He is a cherished son, brother, and friend. Known for his integrity, work ethic, and leadership, Matt is highly respected in the business community by colleagues, clients, and partners alike. He’s a competitor at heart — some would say a grinder — who never backs down from a challenge.
Now, he faces the biggest battle of his life, and he needs our support more than ever.
This diagnosis has forced Matt to step away from work, and the financial burden of treatment, travel, and time away from home is already mounting. Matt must remain in Los Angeles throughout the duration of the trial, far from the familiarity and support of his daily life.
If you know Matt and Ann, you know they are the first to show up when someone needs help — and the last to ask for it themselves. So, we are asking for them. Your support — whether financial, emotional, or simply spreading the word — will help lift the weight of this battle and remind them they are not alone.
Thank you for standing with this beautiful family in their time of need — with love, compassion, faith and hope.
