I really didn’t want to have to make one of these, but I’m in a tough spot and could use some help.

Mattie is my mom’s dog—she meant the world to her. After my mom passed, I took Mattie in and promised to give her the same love and care. A few days ago, she needed emergency abdominal surgery after eating something she shouldn’t have. That alone was over $5,000, and I was able to cover it somehow, thinking we were through the worst of it.

But just 48 hours after coming home, her incision opened back up, and we had to rush her back to the ER. Now she needs another surgery, and the costs are piling up way faster than I can manage.
