As many of the people in my life may know, I am getting top surgery in just a few days. I can't put into words the roller coaster that this decision and process has been, and as July 25th has drawn closer, my insurance company has come to a final determination: they will cover only a portion of this procedure. I am now responsible for the surgeon's fee, which is $6,000.

Given that I am also juggling the finances of grad school, this is a cost that is significantly more than I can afford. I am hoping for some support in covering this cost.
