Hello everyone, my name is Sara.

I’m unsure really how to even start writing this. As most of you all know my dad, Enrique, lost his battle to gastric cancer October 2023. My mom, Mattie, has been my rock after dad passed away. It was such a hard loss for both my sister and I and she is the glue that holds us together. I am forever grateful for her strength.

This year mom was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and will be having a double mastectomy the first week of March. Anyone who knows mom knows that she is so hardworking and so willing to help so of course this has been hard for mom to open up about. I asked her if it was ok for me to reach out to our friends and family for some help. With her surgery around the corner I’d like to ask our friends and family for help raising funds to help cover essential expenses related to her surgery, extra treatments and living expenses. Anything whether it’s big or small or even a kind prayer would be greatly appreciated.
