On 10/3/2025 Mattie and Makayla were involved in a serious motorcycle accident that turned their lives upside down and left them both injured and facing a long road to recovery. While we are so incredibly grateful that they are still with us, they have a tough journey ahead — physically, emotionally, and financially.

Both Mattie and Makayla will be unable to work for an unknown amount of time, which means their everyday living costs and medical expenses are quickly adding up. On top of that, they had been saving for their wedding, a celebration of their love that they’ve been looking forward to for so long. Now, instead of planning for their future together, they’re focused on healing.

Anyone who knows Mattie and Makayla knows what an amazing couple they are — kind, hardworking, and always the first to lend a hand or a smile to others.
