Matthew was in a motorbike accident on April 19th, causing fractures to his sacral and lumbar vertebrae, leaving him in the hospital with no feeling below his waist. He suffered a collapsed lung as well during the first emergency procedure. He has one more major surgery to be completed in order to fuse his spine.
