My name is Matt, and I'm reaching out for help after an unexpected loss that has had an immediate impact on my ability to support my family and earn a living.

I work as a surf photographer and jet ski operator, providing water safety support and capturing unforgettable moments in the ocean. Recently, while launching my jet ski for work, a powerful wave surged in and caught my truck. Despite our best efforts to recover it, the vehicle was dragged into the ocean and damaged beyond repair.

For most people, a truck is just a vehicle. For me, it was the foundation of my livelihood.

My truck allowed me to launch and recover jet skis used for water safety operations, helping surfers and ocean users when conditions got heavy. It was also what made my photography work possible, allowing me to transport equipment, access beaches, and capture some of the best moments people will ever experience in the ocean.

There's nothing better than helping put someone on a good wave, watching them catch the wave of their life, and preserving those memories through photographs they can look back on forever. The ocean community has given me so much over the years,

friendships, purpose, incredible experiences, and a career built around something I genuinely love.

In just a few moments, I lost the vehicle that made all of that possible.

Without reliable transportation, I can't launch my ski, reach many of my work locations, or continue providing the level of service my clients depend on. Every day without a truck means lost income and fewer opportunities to do the work I'm passionate about while supporting my family.

My goal is to raise $25,000 to replace my Toyota truck and get back to work. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward replacing the vehicle that allows me to provide water safety services, continue my passion for photography , and provide for my family.

Asking for help isn't easy, but this setback is bigger than I can overcome on my own.
