As you all may have heard, my Dad (Matthew) has fallen ill with a life-threatening infection in his spine. He rarely is ill, and he is the strongest man I know, but somehow this was able to grab ahold of him, and we are fighting back as best we can. He was dealing with a former infection that has metastasized into his spine. He already has had surgery to try and remove an infectious pocket from his spine. The infection is still in his spine.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we are asking our friends and family to come together and help us (if possible) make it possible for him to continue his antibiotics outside of the hospital. This journey has already put a financial strain on our family, so we are reaching out. At this point in time, due to the severity of this situation, they respectfully ask to limit visitation until further notice. This journey almost took a Husband, Dad, and Grandpa from us. We are doing everything we can to make sure he stays with us for many more years to come. We just need a little help.
