At our dental office, we consider our team family. For nearly 10 years, Karen has been a dedicated Dental Assistant whose hard work, compassion, and deep love for her children and grandchildren have touched all of us. Today, her family is facing a heartbreaking and unimaginable challenge.

Karen’s beloved grandson, Matthew, just 19 months old, is once again fighting for his life. Matthew was first diagnosed with leukemia at only 5 months old. After months of treatment and remarkable strength, his family hoped the worst was behind them. Tragically, they have now learned that his leukemia has returned. His diagnosis has shifted from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) to Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), and he has begun another intensive round of treatment.

As part of this next phase, Matthew will eventually need a bone marrow transplant—a critical, life-saving procedure that requires long hospital stays and a challenging recovery. Because of the seriousness of his condition, both of his parents will need to step away from work to remain by his side throughout this difficult journey.

The emotional toll is already immense, and the financial strain of extended hospital stays, medical needs, and lost income adds another heavy burden. We are creating this GoFundMe to help support Matthew and his family so they can focus entirely on what matters most: helping this brave little boy fight and heal.
