Matthew has encountered an unexpected and life-altering event that has left him fighting to regain his mobility and independence. Just a short while ago, Matthew collapsed at home and was rushed to the hospital. It was discovered that he suffered a Hemorrhagic Stroke, and he immediately received brain surgery. After ten days of uncertainty, Matthew regained consciousness. However, the Hemorrhagic resulted in partial paralysis on the left side of his body.

Matthew's journey to recovery has been challenging, but his resilience and determination are unwavering. Through ongoing physiotherapy, he is slowly regaining mobility in his left arm and leg. However, the first four months following the incident are crucial for his rehabilitation. During this time, intensive physiotherapy is paramount to give him the best chance of walking again.

Unfortunately, Matthew's parents, who have been his primary caregivers, are unable to work as they devote their time to his full-time care. Their dedication is admirable, but it has placed a significant financial strain on the family. The cost of physiotherapy sessions, which are required five times a week, amounts to $145 a session. These expenses are overwhelming, and without your help, Matthew's chances of accessing this vital treatment are at risk.

We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to support Matthew's journey to recovery and alleviate the financial burden on his family. Our goal is to raise 10,000 to cover the cost of his physiotherapy sessions during the critical initial months.
