Finally through with the stem cell transplant. Now I just have a very very long road to recovery ahead of me. Waking up in the morning is a gamble. Somedays I’m up to go for a hike, others I can’t even leave my bed. It’s a really weird feeling. Feeling out of breath, weak, hungry but can’t eat… I can’t even walk up a hill without it feeling like ima pass out. Or same goes for going to the restroom. But it’s okay. I’ve gain my straight before and this time I’m coming back stronger!! Have I ever experienced how I FREAKED HATE medical bills... whoever invented medical bills you suck. All of our saving that we worked SO hard on is completely liquidated. So ANY type of assistance will greatly BE APPRECIATED!!!

Hellooo! My name is Matthew Ramirez. Thank you for supporting our family and helping me beat cancer! I was the breadwinner for our family, but you never plan for a diagnosis like this. I have (AML) Acute Myeloid Leukemia, which is known as blood cancer and I will need a bone marrow transplant. My wife Carolyn would be happy to work, but me and the kids truly need mom to be at home taking care of us. Our families live hours away, and we need to stay close to the hospital.
