My name is Matthew Perry. I am a Christ follower who attends a Baptist church in Hudson, NC. We have planned a mission trip to the Chilca region of Peru later this October. There, we will visit, work with, and help comfort and teach the community of Esperanza de ANA about the love of Jesus and the experience of the Kingdom of Christ. We will discover the beauty of the Peruvian people and their culture while working alongside them in the classroom and on projects that align with the mission's strategic objectives.

I am asking for donations totaling $1500. $1200 will cover my travel, room, and board. The other $300 will cover miscellaneous expenses such as supplies for myself and some classroom supplies for the community. All funds over the requested donation amount will be gifted to the community.

Esperanza de Ana is a community of Christ-followers. Many of them have come from hard places. They have come to know a faithful God who truly does put the love in families. They have a deep passion for bringing the gospel to the most vulnerable areas in the country. They believe that spiritual formation is foundational in establishing a kingdom culture. For that reason, they prioritize the daily practices of singing together, opening the word together, and leading one another in devotions and prayer.

I am very excited that I have been given this opportunity to travel abroad to share the love of our Lord and see a foreign land that I have always been fascinated with since I was a little kid. I pray that if it is God's will, this need will be met and exceed my wildest expectations so we can shower the community with more love than expected.
