Its been a year, I have been blessed with sobriety and the adoption of the puppies I found living on the street. I was denied employment based on charges, not conviction. I gave no record but being charged is as bad as being guilty. Desperately need a private attorney

My name is Matthew David McCabe. On November 21, 2024, I received a death threat via text message. The property I leased had been trespassed upon (and law enforcement searched for criminal/mental health fugitives) previously, and I was warned to move off, or else. I came home to people waiting to kill me. I defended myself, and no one was hurt or property damaged, yet I was arrested without proper investigation for self defense in fear for my life.

Immediately after being taken into custody, nearly everything I owned was stolen. I was held for nearly 60 days without an unbiased bail hearing and only got released by invoking my 6th Amendment rights.

I'm asking for help for legal representation and economic hardship. This shouldn't happen to people, not me, not anyone. Any unused funds will go towards legal defense funding for the innocent.

I'm asking for small donations of $27, but any amount helps.
