Help Matthew Alvarez Fight Cancer and Support His Mom Karina

Our family is facing an unexpected and heartbreaking challenge, and we are asking for help during one of the most frightening moments of our lives.

Matthew Alvarez, age 32, was recently diagnosed with cancer with no warning and is now hospitalized. This sudden news has changed everything. Matthew is unable to work right now and is fighting every day as doctors begin his treatment.

His mother, Karina Alvarez, is a single mom who has always worked hard to support herself and both of her children. She now needs to be by Matthew’s side to support him through this painful and overwhelming time. Because of this, she will be unable to work for a while as she focuses on helping her son through this difficult journey.

We are raising funds to help Karina and Matthew with everyday living expenses, rent, transportation, and any unexpected costs that come with such a sudden and life-changing diagnosis.

Matthew is strong and fighting with everything he has. Karina is doing all she can to be there for him, but they cannot get through this alone.
