NOTE: This is funds matching. I am matching dollar for dollar up to $5000.
Hi, my name is Matt Webb and I’m a father and filmmaker from Knoxville, TN. Like many of you, my family has been impacted greatly by Alzheimer’s disease. Both my grandmother and my father suffered from and ultimately succumbed to the disease. My father was only 54 when we was diagnosed and passed away about 10 years later. He was very young and otherwise healthy. I want to tell his story and the story of so many other families through my film “Dad’s Last Beach Trip” This short film follows the confirmation of a diagnosis up to the point my mother and I decided to take one last beach trip with him as a family. It was wonderful and terrible and a trip I’ll never forget. This short film will be part of the Film Fest Knox competition where, should I place in the top 3, my team will get a chance to make a feature film on this topic. I thank you in advance for supporting my efforts. Your dollars will be accounted for and used only for the making of the film and submission to film festivals. This is funds matching. I am matching dollar for dollar up to $5000. I hope to get this story in front as many people as possible. If you are able to donate $100 or more you will be given special thanks in the film credits. If you donate $500 or more to the cause you will be listed as a producer in the credits. Any amount is appreciated.
