My name is Melissa Sala (Sefcik), and I am Matt’s sister. I will personally be handling all funds raised with Matt’s permission as he is recovering and I will transfer every donation directly to Matt as soon as he is discharged from the hospital.

On July 4, Matt Sefcik’s life changed in an instant after a devastating accident that resulted in the loss of his limb. He has successfully undergone emergency surgery and is now beginning a long journey of healing, rehabilitation, and recovery.

In the weeks and months ahead, Matt will face additional medical care, rehabilitation, prosthetic fitting, and time away from work as he adjusts to this life-changing injury.
