Support Matt Summy's Knee Surgery Recovery

Hey everyone, my name is Matt Summy. For those who don’t know me personally, let me tell you a bit about myself and what has led me to creating this page… I truly hate having to set up a Go Fund Me, but due to emergency health issues, I am facing a devastating financial situation.

I am suddenly in need of not just one surgery, but surgery to repair both of my knees. I have worked hard and supported myself my entire life and this is very humbling for me to have to write. I am not good at asking for help, and yet, in this situation, it is all that I can do.

The funds raised on this page will go to cover additional costs that my insurance wont as well as to help support basic bills while I am unable to work. (Which is looking like a several month stretch in order to recover and rehabilitate myself). I am a Tradesman, which is a very physically demanding job – and without working knees? Well…. That is unfortunately out of the question.

Life can take some crazy twists and turns. I never pictured myself being in this type of situation. It can happen to any one of us. Knowing that other people care and support you means more than I had ever realized.

I appreciate you reading this far. If you are able to contribute and help it would mean the world to me. Your support could very well mean the difference between me staying afloat or losing everything I have worked so hard for.
