Support Matt Stake’s Family After a Courageous Battle
At just 44 years old, Matthew Stake passed away on April 10, 2026, after a brave battle with Frontotemporal Dementia and a sudden heart attack. Matt was a devoted husband to his wife Kristin and a loving father to their three children—Landon (13), Anson (11), and Allison (9). His family was his entire world.
He proudly served his country in the Air National Guard and as an active-duty officer. He was also a talented teacher, artist, and musician who touched countless lives. As one of the original members of Operation Encore, Matt used music to connect with and uplift fellow Veterans. Even through his illness, Matt never lost his strength, humor, or love for others.
Now, his family is facing an unimaginable loss along with unexpected financial burdens. As Kristin navigates life without her partner and their children grow up without their father, they need our support more than ever. If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing. Every contribution helps provide stability and honor the life of a man who gave so much to others. Thank you for your kindness and support.
